Kids just love Halloween. Its the night they can play dress up and get candies and treats from other people. Its the night where everyone gets to retell stories of the living dead. Its a night of pure pleasure and fun.

The Celtics originated Halloween on October 31st, which marks the end of the summer. Halloween is also the traditional marker for harvest, and a big celebration. The Celtics believe that the dead can come back to life on the night of October 31st, Halloween.

When the dead returned to life they often played dirty tricks on the crops. They’ve caused illness to the living and ruined crops in entire areas. Living in fear of this happening, people would hold a bonfire and offer gifts and offerings to the spirits in the fire. These offerings would please the spirits, who would then help the Druids to make predictions about the future. People looked forward to a good prediction to help them get through the long winter months with a sense of comfort.

The name Halloween originated from All Hallows Eve, a Christian celebration. All Hallows Day is celebrated on November 1st, so of course Halloween is celebrated on October 31st. Many families today enjoy collecting small buildings and creating a diorama representing a Halloween Village. This village can grow over the years to include new buildings.

The Halloween village may have vampires and ghouls. They have zombie workers. They could even have ghost trains and ghost ships. Let your imagination fly with the creation of your Halloween village.

You could even go all cutesy and find little cartoon characters for your Halloween Village. You can use the buildings year round, just decorate them with bats and witches for Halloween! You can make it as spooky as you’d like – there are lots of assorted items that you can buy to decorate your village.

If you don’t have a ready assortment of ghouls in your local stores, you can find some very unique pieces at various websites. You’ll find some fun collectibles for your Halloween Village at some great prices, delivered right to your door.

Halloween is such a fun holiday that brings a lot of joy to people. Halloween is celebrated all over the world, and becoming more popular every year. There are parties, and so many fun pranks. It’s always a good time seeing the kids all dressed up, gathering their treats from houses all decorated for the holiday. That’s a real life Halloween Village!
